The GUMPERT apollo speed has been unveiled today in Geneva and the company has released the full specifications of the new model. The GUMPERT apollo speed is powered by a 4,163 cm3 V8 engine with 5 valves per cylinder, four overhead camshafts, hydraulic valve clearance compensation, a double-flow exhaust system with 3-way catalytic converter dry sump lubrication. The GUMPERT apollo speed develops 700 HP/ 515 kW at 6,500 rpm and 875 Nm / 645,3 lb ft of torque at 4,000 rpm.
The engine of the GUMPERT apollo speed is coupled with a sequential six-speed gear box with synchronization and oil cooling that send the power to the rear wheels. The GUMPERT apollo speed is also fitted with a differential lock by Torsen.
The GUMPERT apollo speed is able to get from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 8.9 seconds. The top speed of the GUMPERT apollo speed is more than 360 km/h / 224 mph.
