Lexus RC350 Trademarked

 »  »  »

At the beginning of this month, Lexus registered the RC350 trademark with the Australian authority responsible for intellectual property matters. Even though Lexus does not have an official position about this registration, the RC350 refers to a car. Rumors say that the Lexus RC350 is going to be the production version of the LF-CC concept, which had its debut last September at the Paris Auto Show. If this turns out to be true, the Lexus RC350 is going to be a two-door four-seat coupe, measuring 4,660 mm in length. Judging from the "350" part of the name, we can assume that the power of the RC350 is going to come from the 3.5-liter V6 engine, which is quite interesting, because the LF-CC concept presented in Paris had a smaller 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine.

Some of the design features of the LF-CC concept could be transferred to the Lexus RC350 production model. These include the LED headlights and daytime running lights, and the new HMI (human-machine interface). We'll have more details about the Lexus RC350 as soon as they're available.
