The road going version of the Morgan Aero SuperSports Race has been unveiled last month and its GT3 version has already won its first two races. Under the colors of the AutoGT team, sponsored by Banque Barings Sturdza, the Morgan Aero SuperSports Race has won both rounds of the Silverstone race as part of the International FIA GT3 Championship.
The road going version of the Morgan Aero SuperSports Race is powered by a 4.8 liter BMW V8 that's mated to a 6 speed automatic or a manual transmission.
Charles Morgan said "it was just incredible to see the new car dominating the field. The competition is extraordinary out there,
with works supported teams from all of the major manufacturers. For me, one of the most exciting things is that the two races were won by different Morgans, and this bodes extremely well for the rest of the season"
