VW has released the first Volkswagen Golf R video showing the new German performance model going head to head in a race against the Volkswagen Scirocco R. The Volkswagen Golf R is filmed on the company's race track for what seems to be a commercial. The Volkswagen Golf R, unveiled this year at the IAA, is powered by 2.0 liter TSI engine that sends 270 PS and 350 Nm of torque to all four wheels. The top speed of the Volkswagen Golf R is rated at 250 km/h and the manufacturer says it can reach 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds.
