According to various sources reporting today, the Volkswagen Golf VII debut will take place at the end of 2012, or early 2013. Apparently, inside sources said that the 7th generation of the Volkswagen Golf is scheduled to hit the dealerships sometime in November 2012. The Volkswagen Golf Mk VII will be built on VW's modular transverse architecture (MQB), which will be used for other models of the group too.
Unfortunately no new details regarding the Volkswagen Golf 7 have been revealed at this point. What we know so far regarding the VW Golf VII is that it will be offered with the expected petrol and turbo diesel engines, together with new hybrid powertrains and possibly an electric only model.
