The tuners from ABT Sportsline revealed today a new power kit for the latest generation 2013 Volkswagen Beetle cabrio and a new body kit for the same popular model. ABT's power kit for the 2013 VW Beetle includes a re-programmed ECU, which increases the horsepower output of every engine from the model's lineup. The 2.0 TSI engine, thanks to the new powerkit, receives and extra 40 hp / 50 hp and an additional 70 Nm of torque. The same powerkit from ABT increases the output of the 1.4 TSI engine by 50 hp and 40 Nm of torque. The 1.2 TSI engine gets an extra 35 hp and 45 Nm of torque. For the diesel versions of the 2013 Volkswagen Beetle, ABT's powerkit offers an extra 30 hp / 50 Nm for the 2.0 TDI engine and 20 hp / 35 Nm for the 1.6 TDI engine.
Apart from the power kit for the 2013 Beetle, ABT is also offering a bespoke sport exhaust system, 19- and 20-inch alloys, and high performance brakes with 345 x 30 mm discs. There’s also a sport suspensions that lowers the 2013 Beetle's ride height by 30 mm at the front axle and by 35 mm at the rear one.
ABT's body kit for the new VW Beetle (2013) includes front and rear spoilers, side skirts, a rear diffuser, and covers for the headlights and tail lights. ABT is going to announce the price of these new mods at a later date.
