Volkswagen announced today the 2013 Beetle Convertible's price list for the UK market, where it already went on sale. The first units are going to be delivered starting from April, 2013. The 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible will be available on the British market with a choice between several petrol and diesel engines. The petrol range includes a 1.2-litre TSI (105 PS), a 1.4-litre TSI (160 PS), and a 2.0-litre TSI (200 PS). The diesel range offers a 1.6-litre TDI (105 PS), and a 2.0-litre (TDI 140 PS). VW will sell the 2014 Beetle Convertible in three trim levels (base, Design and Sport) and three special versions, called the 50s, the 60s and the 70s.
The equipment list of the new VW Beetle Convertible (2013) includes, among others, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, an RCD 510 DAB CD/radio, 18-inch alloys, Keyless Access, satellite navigation systems and bi-xenon headlights. VW will also throw in a Fender sound system with a 400W output and a subwoofer.
The 2013 Beetle Convertible's price for the petrol range starts in the UK at £18,150 RRP OTR and it goes up to £26,485 RRP OTR. A diesel convertible VW Beetle (2013) is going to coast you at least £19,970 RRP OTR, but you could also spend as much as £26,270 RRP OTR on one.
