Kia revealed today at the 2013 LA Motor Show the new K900, which is their first rear-wheel-drive sedan, as well as their new V8 flagship. The Kia K900 is going to be available with a 5.0-liter V8 Tau engine that develops 420 hp. The Kia K900 V8 is equipped with Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI), dual CVVT variable valve timing, and an 8-speed transmission with three settings (Eco, Normal and Sport). Kia will sell the K900 with a smaller 3.8-liter Lamba V6 engine too. This version develops 311 hp and it comes with the same gearbox. The Kia K900 has a 119.9-inch wheelbase, 19-inch alloys, LED headlights, DRLs, fog lights and rear lights. For the interior of the K900, Kia chose a heated leather steering wheel, Nappa leather, dark charcoal poplar-wood trim parts, a 12-way adjustable driver's seat, an optional 16-way power adjusted driver's seat, and a panoramic roof.



The equipment list of the Kia K900 includes a 12.3 inches full-color LCD screen, a TFT instrument panel, a Head-Up Display (HUD), a Blind Spot Detection System (BSD), a Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) and a 900-watt Lexicon high-fidelity audio system with a 12-channel digital amplifier, 17 speakers, and an inverted subwoofer.
