Mazda Koeru Teased

Mazda released today a new teaser image of the Koeru, which is going to have its world debut next week at the Frankfurt Auto Show. The Japanese carmaker says that the Koeru will show the direction Mazda chose for their future models. In the words of its creators, the Mazda Koeru will be "a boldly progressive yet dignified crossover SUV". "Koeru" means to "exceed" or in Japanese. Judging from this sketch the carmaker released, this new concept previews a four-door crossover, with a long bonnet and a coupe-like profile. It comes with an aggressive-looking front end, but it keeps Mazda's signature front grille. It sits on massive wheels and it comes with slim side mirrors, which are probably video cameras. The Mazda Koeru will be joined on the company's stand in Frankfurt by the new MX5 and the CX3.

We will have more details about the Mazda Koeru at the beginning of next week.
