With the launch of the new AMG model imminent, there's a new rumor going around about it - a Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster?. Apparently, a number of spy images show a Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster hot weather testing in the Unite States. The convertible version of the much anticipated gullwing model is expected to be premiered at the Frankfurt Auto Show. This means the Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster will probably go public within a year time.
The Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster will have a soft-top that follows the lines of the gullwing coupe and will be powered by the 570 hp 6.3-litre V8 engine mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster is expected to have a top speed just shy of 200 mph and a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time under 4 seconds.
