The new open-top Mercedes SLS Roadster was recently tested by the British journalists from EVO Magazine. They released this extensive review, on video, in which they express their opinions on the SLS Roadster's comfort, build quality, handling and performance. The 195,160 EUR Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster is powered by the same 6.3-liter V8 engine as the Gullwing, which develops 563 hp and 479 pound-feet of torque. With this engine under its hood, the SLS Roadster is able to get from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.8 seconds and to reach a top speed of 317 km/h.
Mercedes did not yet disclose the date on which the SLS Roadster will go on sale, but we expect it to be available for ordering towards the end of this year, or early in 2012.
