VW has released the first Volkswagen Up! Lite video featuring an animation that demonstrates the various innovations brought by the new concept. The Volkswagen Up! Lite is powered by a new 0.8-liter TDI engine that's based on the 1.6-liter and develops 51 PS and 120 Nm of torque. Developed to be the most fuel efficient four-seater in the world, the Volkswagen Up! Lite can run in "Eco" mode which reduces the output of the engine to 36 PS. The manufacturer says the Volkswagen Up! Lite can offer a fuel economy of 70 mpg on the highway.
