The carmaker has released a new Hennessey Venom GT video showing the Lotus Elise based, Bugatti Veyron challenger in action on the race track. The Hennessey Venom GT has under its skin a 6.2 liter LS9 V8 engine from the ZR1 which outputs a maximum of 1200 bhp and is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox. With a weight of just 1,071 kg, the Hennessey Venom GT is able to rocket from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.2 seconds. The manufacturer rates the top speed of the Hennessey Venom GT at 262 mph, and the price tag at 600,000 USD.
