John Hennessey has recently announced the Hennessey Venom GT price and the fact that the new model will be premiered at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. The Hennessey Venom GT is a 2,395 lbs car that's powered by an LS9 engine from the Corvette ZR1 that develops 750 hp. If this is not enough, the Hennessey Venom GT is also available with the same engine that's tuned to output 1,000 hp and 1,000 lb-ft of torque for the street and 1,200 hp for the track.
With this massive powerplant under the hood, the Hennessey Venom GT is able to get from 0 to 60 mph in 2.2 seconds and up to a top speed of 262 mph.
All this madness does not come cheap. The 750 hp Hennessey Venom GT price starts at 600,000 USD while the 1,200 hp version starts at 725,000 USD. If you want the car in Europe, the Hennessey Venom GT price goes up by just under 25,000 USD.
