This is the SF-01 Street Fighter, which aims to become the ultimate affordable track car. The SF-01 Street Fighter is currently at the design stage. It is the work of Greg Thompson, who submitted his design to Local Motors' Sports Car Platform Design Challenge. Apparently, the SF-01 Street Fighter won the challenge and it might enter production at some point. The SF-01 Street Fighter is built on a tube frame chassis and it can accommodate various engines, including 4-cylinder ones, inline 6-cycinder powertrains and V8 units. The SF-01 Street Fighter has a rear-wheel-drive, front mid-engine architecture. Its fuel cell is positioned behind the main hoop, providing driver protection and a reinforced firewall. The SF-01 Street Fighter could be configured to be road legal too.
It can accommodate headlights, LED daytime running lights and the rear light clusters from the Dodge Dart.
