The body of the car sits lower than the rear wheels and the driver has to sit in an almost horizontal position at the wheel. We're not sure what possessed the owner of the Volkswagen Beetle Woodruff Special to build it. Maybe he was trying to find new un dignifying ways of getting into a car, or maybe he had too much free time on his hands. By the sound of its engine, you would expect the car to have some serious performance, but unfortunately, this isn't the case either.
