BBM Motorsport revealed recently a new performance package for the seventh generation of the Volkswagen Golf GTI, which they call simply the "Plus". The BBM Volkswagen Golf GTI VII Plus develops 300 hp (221 kW) between 6,100 rpm and 6,700 rpm and 440 Nm of torque between 2,150 rpm and 4,750 rpm. This is 70 horsepowers (51 kW) and 90 Nm of torque more than the factory version of the VW Golf VII GTI. To get the extra power out of the Golf GTI's engine, BBM reprogrammed its ECU, installed a carbon fiber intake system and a bespoke sport exhaust system. BBMW's new exhaust for the Golf GTI VII includes down pipes, sport cats and two Supersprint tail pipes measuring 100 mm in diameter each. To keep the extra power in check, BBM Volkswagen Golf GTI VII Plus is equipped with a Stoptech big brake kit that includes 328 x 25 mm discs with 4-piston calipers.
The BBM Volkswagen Golf GTI VII Plus is also equipped with DDC coilovers from KW that allows you to lower the car's height between 22 mm and 55 mm. The BBM Golf VII GTI Plus sits on 19-inch BBS CH-R alloys and matching tires. BBM did not announce the price of their new power kit for the Golf 7 GTI.
