VW revealed today the Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport, which is going to have its world debut next week at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show. The VW Golf GTI Clubsport continues to be powered by the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, but its output has been raised to 195 kW / 265 PS. with the overboost faction, which can be activated for about 10 seconds, the horsepower output is increased to 290 hp. According to VW's official specifications, the Golf GTI Clubsport is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6.0 seconds, when equipped with the 6-speed manual transmission. The DSG version can do it in just 5.9 seconds. The top speed of the Golf GTI Clubsport is electronically limited to 155 mph (250 km/h). In terms of efficiency, the manual version of the hot hatch is rated with 33.8 mpg (equivalent to 160 g/km CO2), while the DSG model offers 34.8 mpg (155 g/km CO2).

Apart from the extra power, the Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport is also fitted with optimized aerodynamics too. It features a new front bumper with broader air intakes, new side skirts, a rear roof spoiler, and a rear diffuser. The VW Golf GTI Clubsport is also fitted with darkened rear lights, a distinctive set of 19-inch wheels, and a sport exhaust system with two round tailpipes. The hatchback comes with an Oryx White exterior finish, but other colors are available too.

At the interior, the Golf GTI Clubsport features sport bucket seats, and an Alcantara upholstery. The Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport's price and availability have not been announced yet.
