Even though the Volkswagen Golf GTI has reached his seventh generation now, the fifth generation is still very popular. As a result, the German tuners from BBM have just launched a new aftermarket program for the popular hot hatch. BBM's Volkswagen Golf GTI develops 336 hp and 460 Nm of torque from a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. To get the extra power, BBM fitted the Golf GTI with a K04 turbocharger from an Audi S3, and a Supersprint exhaust system. The BBM Volkswagen Golf GTI is also equipped with a double-DIN charge air cooler and a ZF / Sachs sport clutch. The car sits on 18-nich alloys KW Club Sport coilover suspension with adjustable strut bearings. For increased stopping power, BBM fitted the VW Golf GTI with Stoptech brakes with 355 x 32 mm discs and 4-piston calipers.
The BBM Volkswagen Golf GTI weighs just 1,270 kg, and it's capable of getting from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.1 seconds. BBM says it can reach a top speed of 275 km/h. The price of the modifications is set at 19.500 EUR including installation.
