 »  »  »

Volkswagen revealed this week the GTI Supersport Vision Gran Turismo concept, which is going to be available in the GT6 video game. As you know, the Gran Turismo 6 video game is available for the PlayStation3 gaming console. The Volkswagen GTI Supersport Vision Gran Turismo is powered by a VR6 TSI turbocharged petrol engine that puts out 503 hp and 665 Nm of torque. The engine of the concept is coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox (DSG), which sends the power to all four wheels via a 4MOTION all-wheel drive system. As you can imagine, the VW GTI Supersport Vision Gran Turismo is going to be available in the virtual world only. We doubt VW will ever bring such vehicle to life. According to VW's official specs, the GTI Vision Gran Turismo is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.6 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 300 km/h.

The Volkswagen GTI Gran Turismo comes equipped with 20-inch alloys and a bespoke wide body kit. Apart from the wider body, the GTI Gran Turismo also comes with a lowered center of gravity, and countless carbon fiber parts. These offer it a power-to-weight ratio of 2.5 kilograms per horsepower. The VW GTI Gran Turismo is already available for downloading.
