The first sketches of the Volkswagen Golf GTI Vision GranTurismo concept have leaked over the web today. Little is known at the moment about Volkswagen's extreme Golf GTI GranTurismo. We did manage to learn however, that its official debut is going to take place sometime today. The Volkswagen Golf GTI Vision GranTurismo is a futuristic looking roadster, with a wrap-around windscreen, bulging wheel arches and a massive rear wing. The Golf GTI Vision features a massive double exhaust pipe, LED headlights and rear lights and various carbon fiber body parts. The reason Volkswagen calls their new Golf GTI Vision a "GranTurismo" is because the concept is going to be featured in the video game with the same name.
So far, the German carmaker did not disclose any details about the Golf GTI GranTurismo's engine.

UPDATE: Just as we were posting this article, Volkswagen official unveiled the Golf GTI Vision and announced that its public debut is going to take place Worthersee. The Volkswagen Golf GTI Vision GranTurismo is powered by a 3.0 TSI VR6 engine that develops a massive 503 hp and 665 Nm of torque. The VW Golf GTI Vision GranTurismo is equipped with the 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system and the 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. The car comes with 20-inch alloys and massive brake discs.
