The British journalists from Fifth Gear are some of the first to drive and review the latest generation 2012 BMW 1 Series 5-door hatch. Unfortunately, their main camera broke down and they had to film their entire review with the help of an iPhone. This came in handy, since it was a good occasion to demonstrate the car's "online abilities". With the help of an iPhone, the 5-door version of the 2012 BMW 1 Series is able to access various Internet services, such as Facebook, and Twitter.
The 2012 BMW 1 Series 5-door is available with a choice between several petrol and diesel engines, including two 1.6-liter petrol units, and a 2.0-liter diesel.
The power output of the 2012 1-Series 5-door ranges, depending on the engine, between 116 hp and 170 hp. with the 2012 1-Series version, BMW also lower the price of the model. You can now get a brand new 1-Series 5-door with less than 20,000 GBP.
