BMW revealed today the facelifted 1 Series hatchback, which is going to be available both as a 5-door and as a 3-door. To be honest, we've never been big fans of the 1 Series' design, until know. BMW really nailed it this time. The 2016 BMW 1 Series comes with a seriously revised exterior and interior design. Apart from its styling, BMW says they have also improved the fuel efficiency of its engines and decreased their CO2 emissions levels. The new 1 Series Bimmer is going to be available with all-around LED lights, including the High Beam Assistant function. Its standard equipment includes BMW Radio Professional, iDrive, the Tire Pressure Indicator, automatic air conditioning, a rain sensor, and a high resolution 6.5-inch built-in monitor.

BMW also revised the chassis of the new 1 Series (2016), which now offers an almost perfect weight distribution (50:50).

The 2016 BMW 1 Series is going to be sold with the following engines: 116i, 118i, 120i, 125i, 116d, 118d, 120d, and 125d. As always the top of the range model is going to be the 135i. The 2016 BMW 135i comes with the well-known 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine. Its horsepower output has been increased to 326 hp and 450 Nm of torque. As expected, the 2016 BMW 1 Series is going to be available with Efficient Dynamics technology and with the xDrive all-wheel-drive system.

Here are the full details and specifications of the 2016 BMW 1 Series. Its price list and availability are going to be announced at a later date.
