BMW announced today the price list of the 2012 BMW 1 Series 5-door for the UK market, where it will go on sale on 17 September 2011. The 2012 BMW 1 Series is the second generation of the model, which offers a unique rear-wheel-drive architecture, and premium quality. In comparison to the previous version, the 2012 1 Series is 83mm longer, 14mm wider and has a 30mm longer wheelbase. Apart from offering more interior space, the new 2012 1 Series Bimmer also promises to have more efficient engines, with lower CO2 emissions. BMW says that the 2012 116d EfficientDynamics has a 99g/km CO2 emissions level. This means that it's the first ever BMW to break the 100g/km mark
The 2012 BMW 1 Series 5-door will be available on the
British market with a range of petrol and diesel engines, including the 116i, 118i, 116d, 118d and 120d.
The 2012 BMW 1 Series price lists starts with the 116i which costs at least 19,375 GBP and offers 136 hp and 220 Nm of torque. The 2012 BMW 118i is priced from 21,985 GBP and comes with 170 hp and 250 Nm of torque, while the entry level 2012 116d diesel will cost you at least 20,195 GBP.
