BMW released today the first promo video for the new generation 2012 1 Series 5-door. The clip offers detailed views of the car's interior and exterior and presents both versions of the 2012 1 Series, the Urban Line and Sport Line. The 2012 1 Series comes with a fresh new exterior design, featuring new headlights and tail lights, re-designed bumpers and a new hood. BMW also updated it's interior, which now offers higher quality materials and a more pleasant overall design.
The petrol range of the 2012 BMW 1 Series includes a 1.6-liter, 170 hp engine in the 118i, and a 136 hp version of the same unit in the 116i. For its diesel customers, BMW is offering a 2.0-liter, 184 hp and 380 Nm engine in the 120d, a 143 hp and 320 Nm version in the 118d and a 116 hp / 260 Nm version in the 116d.
