The Volkswagen Golf GTI Performance design study was presented at this year's Worthersee Tour in Austria. The Volkswagen Golf GTI Performance features a black and orange paint finish, a wide body kit and vertical opening doors. The color theme continues in the interior where they installed a state-of-the art sound system. Because of this system the engineers had to remove the back seats of the Volkswagen Golf GTI Performance leaving just one sport bucket seat.
The rear end of the Volkswagen Golf GTI Performance features two, almost rectangular exhaust pipes.
