Volkswagen Designer Golf GTI

 »  »  »

Let's see what Derek Jenkins, the chief designer at Volkswagen USA, is driving. You'd expect a top of the line luxury car. But no, he drives a modified Golf GTI.

The car was designed to not stand out in a crowd. The reason for this is because it will also attract less attention from the police. Good thinking there Derek. But once you get inside the ride you realize you are in a real racer. We especially love the "oh shit bars" (Watch the video for this one).

For the Volkswagen Golf RGTI they worked with APR. Visual modifications include: carbon fiber chin spoiler, carbon fiber grille surround, carbon fiber mirrors, a DTM Karbon GTi hood,

DTM professional paint, tinted windows and R32 tail lights.
