Volkswagen T ROC Concept

 »  »  »

The Volkswagen T-ROC concept, which had its debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show is a rather interesting looking SUV, with two removable roof halves. So basically, it's an open-top, coupe SUV. Does it have a personality crisis? Anyway, the Volkswagen T-ROC is powered by a 2.0 TDI turbo-diesel direct injection engine that develops 135 kW / 184 PS and 380 Nm of torque. It offers three different driving modes: Street, Off-road and Snow. Volkswagen equips the T-ROC with 4Motion, a 7-speed DSG (dual-clutch gearbox), ABS, Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control. The VW T-ROC is rated with a fuel economy of 4.9 l/100 km. Built on the Modular Transverse Matrix (MQB) platform, VW's T-ROC weighs just 1,420 kg. It comes with 19-inch alloys and 245/45 tires.

Volkswagen fitted the T-ROC with LED headlights, and front and rear cameras. We'll have more information on the T-ROC as soon as Volkswagen makes it available.
